We believe that Christianity is not a religion, but rather a personal relationship with the Creator God and His Son, Jesus Christ. That relationship is formed by faith in the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary and in His resurrection from the dead. Salvation is a gift from God, and is free to all who will accept. Baptism is an outward sign of a new life in Christ, identifying with his death, burial and resurrection. We also observe the Lord’s Supper, as He commanded us to remember Him.
Baptism is a step of obedience in following Jesus by those who have accepted His gift of salvation. Baptism classes are offered during the year when there are those who desire to take this step of commitment.
